Let’s talk about Bai5. I love it. Here’s why: only 5 calories, naturally sweetened, antioxidant infused, low glycemic index, gluten free, vegan, GMO-free, and BPA-free. Translation: it’s totally awesome. I am generally a water with lemon 24/7 kind of person, but every once in a while I need a change. Bai5 is the perfect beverage to satisfy that need for “something different.” They have a ton of delicious flavors-my favorite is the Molokai Coconut. They are currently having a contest to make a smoothie recipe with Bai5. Obviously, I made one with Molokai Coconut. The inspiration for the recipe is a drink (usually alcoholic!) called a Lava Flow that is kind of like half pina colada and half strawberry daiquiri. I could totally see myself drinking this smoothie at the beach or by the pool all summer long. Totally healthy and very refreshing!

Ingredients: 1 frozen banana 5 medium strawberries 1 cup Bai5 Molokai Coconut 1 tbsp shredded coconut 1 tsp chia seeds
handful of ice
Directions:
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth. Garnish with additional strawberries, coconut, and chia seeds, if desired. Enjoy immediately.
